Almanach d'achat Sugargoo

Naomi Ashcroft

Naomi Ashcroft
Editor-in-Chief
Expertise
Shopping-agent service terms, parcel consolidation rules, warehouse cut-off calendars, and consumer-facing contract language
12 ans à couvrir ce domaine

Naomi Ashcroft spent six years writing compliance notes for a freight-forwarding trade newsletter before joining the Almanac at its founding in 2019. She reads service agreements for a living and keeps a printed copy of each agent's terms in a lever-arch file, annotated in pencil with the date of every revision. At the desk she sets the quarterly re-check calendar and signs off every guide that quotes a fee, a deadline, or a clause. She lives in Portland and is unreasonably attached to her label printer.

Ellis Tanaka

Ellis Tanaka
Reviews Editor
Expertise
Hands-on parcel preparation, protective packaging, garment fit checks, and QC photo comparison
8 ans à couvrir ce domaine

Ellis Tanaka ran the returns bench at a Portland outdoor-gear retailer for four years, which is where he learned that a photographed seam tells you more than a specification sheet. He joined the Almanac in 2020 and now runs the packing bench: weighing, rehearsing, and re-packing parcels for every hands-on review. He keeps a shelf of failed packaging — crushed corner protectors, split mailers, a box that arrived with a footprint on it — and refers to it during scoring meetings.

Ingrid Solberg

Ingrid Solberg
Research Editor
Expertise
Seasonal shipping calendars, fee arithmetic, line-by-line cost comparison, and reader data handling
10 ans à couvrir ce domaine

Ingrid Solberg spent five years as a data analyst for a regional parcel carrier before moving into editorial research. She joined the Almanac in 2021 and owns the timing log: every order, check-in, rehearsal, payment, handover, and delivery date recorded in one spreadsheet. She builds the comparison tables, converts every quoted cost to the same currency and weight basis, and is the person who notices when two guides disagree about a cut-off date.
