Direct Buy, Fill&Buy and forwarding bring those sources into one warehouse workflow for visible-condition QC, consolidation and international dispatch. MegaShip extends that workflow to eligible DDP sea-freight consignments of up to 3 tons. Our testing team ordered and tested a small sample through the route-selection and warehouse-review flow, then mapped the service terms a buyer must check before paying for international shipping. The important question is not simply whether the advertised agent fee is zero. It is which route controls the purchase, which costs appear at each handoff, and which evidence the buyer must review before the parcel leaves China. For seasonal planning, that means confirming seller dispatch, warehouse intake, QC approval, storage expiry and live route availability rather than relying on a headline delivery estimate.

Service terms begin with the buying route
Direct Buy is for supported marketplace pages that iTaobuy can parse into a normal order. Fill&Buy is the manual route for seller albums, second-hand offers or private listings that need buyer-supplied instructions. Forwarding is different again: the buyer purchases independently and sends the parcel to the iTaobuy warehouse. All three routes can end in consolidation, but responsibility for seller communication, price confirmation and order details is not identical. Decide the route before comparing costs, and record it in the spreadsheet row so the next buyer knows how the link is meant to be handled.
Build a seasonal buffer around seller and parcel handoffs
Seasonal parcel preparation is less about a single cutoff date than about the gaps between handoffs. A seller may dispatch slowly around a Chinese public holiday, domestic courier networks may slow during peak periods, and international lines can change restrictions or transit estimates without changing the product page. Start earlier than the listing suggests, keep the warehouse intake date visible and confirm live route notices before paying for international shipping. iTaobuy does not publish a universal seasonal cutoff in the material reviewed here, so treat any calendar as a planning aid and verify current terms in the account.
The 90-day clock is for consolidation, not postponed QC
iTaobuy lists 90 days of free warehouse storage. That window is useful for waiting on other orders and planning a combined parcel, but it is not a quality-assurance period and it does not extend the seller's return window. Review QC photos promptly, because the decision to accept, clarify or return an item is time-sensitive. Basic QC covers visible defects and whether obvious details such as size, color and the ordered variant appear correct. It cannot prove authenticity, internal materials, measurements not shown in the photos, fit or long-term durability.
Choose the shipping architecture, not just the cheapest line
Ordinary parcel lines suit typical consumer hauls. Compare them by chargeable weight, destination restrictions, tax treatment, compensation and route estimate rather than by a single advertised rate. MegaShip is a separate DDP sea-freight use case for eligible oversized consignments of up to 3 tons to destinations such as the EU, United States, United Kingdom and Canada. A lower per-kilogram headline does not automatically make sea freight suitable: confirm minimums, item restrictions, handling requirements, DDP coverage and the live final quote before committing a seasonal parcel to it.
Treat shipping vouchers as dated terms
iTaobuy advertises a new-user shipping voucher pack that includes a 20% international-shipping coupon capped at CNY 300, plus threshold-based vouchers with a total face value of about CNY 2,412. Those are promotional terms, not permanent checkout facts. Record the face value, percentage cap, minimum spend, eligible routes and expiry date for any coupon you plan to use. Confirm the same terms in the Coupon Center after registering and before parcel submission, then compare the final freight after the discount rather than the discount alone.
Keep one auditable cost trail from CNY to USD
A useful cost record shows both the source price and the agent's displayed total. On 2026-09-19, the supplied Weidian example showed CNY 860 on iTaobuy and US$151.29 for the product, which gives 5.6844 CNY per US$1. The same preview added CNY 15 domestic shipping, or US$2.64, for an order total of US$153.93, while international shipping was excluded. Treat this as a dated snapshot, not a permanent exchange rate, and keep domestic freight, optional services and international shipping in separate fields.
